Elevator Pitch Script and Video

Hello. My name is Fiona Hernandez and I’m a senior at the University at Albany.I‘m currently studying journalism with minors in English and Spanish. Writing interested me from an early age. Much of my writing experience comes from writing for the Albany Student Press campus newspaper. I’ve learned how to write in an accurate, clear, and concise way.

I’m also currently interning with UAlbany’s Office of Communications and Marketing, and am interested in public relations. This internship has given me valuable experience with how to pitch stories, and interview others on why these programs and events are important to UAlbany. Even more, I’ve also learned how to take photos, and write posts twitter feeds to for the university’s the social media page. My goal after graduation is to work for a PR firm as a Communications Specialist. I want to craft stories and be able to write press releases for an organization that I truly care about.
